P365 Day 48 – Feb 17th 2008

We had a video shoot for work today “on location”. Sounds way more impressive than it is. πŸ™‚Β  The guy we are working with for the video found this very cool burnt out warehouse for the shoot and I took about 150 photos. VERY cool site and a great way to practice with the camera.

P365 Day 45 – Feb 14th 2008

There’s nothing better than coming home from a looong day at work (today was particularly long) and finding TWO packages from Australia Post in the mailbox. Todays package – baby clothes (gotta love Bonds) and a few things for Thomas including a Wiggles colouring book. Thanks Mum!<um</um

P365 Day 44 – Feb 13th 2008

Thomas LOVES sushi. And not just inexpensive California Rolls. Oh no… He loves the $2 a piece salmon roe (Ikura). At least we know there’s one place we can take him for dinner and we KNOW he will eat everything on his plate.

A fun one of Thomas. I have embraced the fact that a lot of my photos from this time in Thomas’ life will be blurry. He’s always moving so this is an accurate reflection of his life I guess.

Cupid’s a Shootin’

Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day. I have been marrie for nearly nine years and long ago gave up any romantic notion about this day. Not that I’m complianing. I mean EVERY day should be like Valentine’s Day right? And I would prefer to receive flowers at a time when they won’t die after 24 hours and when my favourite Gereberas are blooming.

The good news is that Digi Scrapping designers give a little extra love on this day and who can complain about that?

  • Lauren Reid is giving away some free word art on the CT blog. VERY cool love quotes. AND if you leave a comment you may win a GC.
  • Tara Sroka is giving away a free kit to someone who leaves her some love today
  • Jen Wilson has a very Valentine OneDerful wednesday. Most of her new V-day stuff is just $1
  • A loads more than I haven’t even found yet…

But you don’t have much time…. (and I am on Pacific time so you actually have even less time time than you thought).

And, finally,Β a little love in the form of a cartoon. My husband would tell you that this is very me. Guess I’m not very romantic either. πŸ™‚

P365 Day 42 – Feb 11th 2008

Tonight’s line up – literally. Wow – a lot of puns for one little sentence. πŸ™‚

I thought I would take a really cool artsy photo of Thomas’ reading choices before bed tonight. I tried stacking them in a cool way to get the best light and a great angle but he kept dismantling my pile and lining them up. Not only did he line them up but they all had to be facing the right way. This was the result.

Tonight we read Harold and the Purple Crayon for about the 50th time. And the reason I know we’ve read it so often is that he read it along with me – word for word. I know he can’t read yet but his memory is amazing. Everytime I would stop reading Thomas would finish the sentence. It’s a little scary how much he manages to store in that little head.

P365 Day 41 – Feb 10th 2008

McMenamins is a uniquely Northwest experience. Sure, the food is largely the same no matter which McMenamin’s restaurant you visit, but the burgers are good, the atmosphere is relaxed (and kid friendly) and the decor is inspiring. Just love these lights and even the website is funky. I would show more but I need to save something for the remaining 300+Β photos this year. πŸ™‚
