About Me

After 11 years in the world of Creative Communications with a PR agency, I recently set out on my own to find a new adventure. Through my company, Lyrebird Images, I enjoy helping families and businesses tell their stories through video, photography and design. I use this blog to share stories from my work, my life and my travels, with a focus on photography.

A little more about me:

I am wife to a wonderful husband and the mother of two sweet boys.

I’m Australian, which explains why you may find the occasional “u” in favourite or an “s” where you might expect to see a “z”. It may also explain my dry sense of humour.

We live in Portland, Oregon – a place we chose with a internet search more than ten years ago and where we are meant to be, although a big part of my heart remains in Melbourne.

On the weekends you’ll find me cheering from the sidelines at a soccer game or doing fun things with my family.  You’ll recognize me because I’ll be the one with a camera permanently hanging around her neck.

Photography is my hobby, my job and my passion. I strive to capture moments through candid, natural portraits that mimic real life. Thank you for letting me share it with you.

  1. Hi Nicole,
I worked with Kei and Tim Halter at ADP and now have my own business as a life coach. Tim and I are working on redesigning my website and he suggested you to take some photos that I can add to the website is this something you would be interested in?
