Two weeks ago…
- Back at work and existing on three hours of sleep thanks to some lingering Jet Lag.
- In denial that Xmas is three weeks away (and Kei’s birthday is next week)!
- Proud of myself for remembering to put out Happi the elf (being unable to get back to sleep at 2:30am has some advantages)
- Coming down from the lingering high that follows three weeks of travel to two amazing countries and the wonderful experiences that are too numerous to count.
Back soon with more stories and photos.
I’m on a short business trip to Seattle and feeling just a little guilty about leaving Kei back in Portland with a pile of childcare and illness issues back at home.
And, although I have a lot of work to do while I’m up here, the Mummy guilt increases a little bit more when I look out of my hotel window.
But, then I take a bubble bath and remind myself that I’ll be back in a couple of days…
…and suddenly I feel a whole lot better.
You can blame it on the bubbles.
Here’s a new link to my AWARD WINNING video. OK, it’s no Tarantino or Scorsese but some people (aka: my Mum) said they couldn’t watch it at the other link so I’m hoping this one works a little better. I’m really not trying to shove it down your throat (or set expectations too high), but it’s pretty good for a corporate video created on a shoestring budget, if I do say so myself.
Watch it here.
And because I can’t have a post without a photo, and the video is called “Blue Sky Thinking”, I leave you with a picture of a pretty blue sky. I’m clever like that.
